Black Body

Black color body absorbs much of the light (visible range of electromagnetic radiation) that falls on it and converts to heat energy. Conversely balackbody quickly converts much of the heat energy to electromagnetic radiation.

It is interesting to note that wearing black color cloths in dark room makes you cooler. The heat from body transferred to the black color cloths and it quickly converts the heat to electromagnetic radiation.

At room temperature black-body radiates infrared radiation. If temperature crosses few hundred degrees Celsius, black-body starts emitting red light. If temperature increases furthur it can emit higher frequencies like blue - violet radiation and can go to the extent where it can emit ultraviolet radiation.

Nikon D60

I have recently got Nikon D60. After reading many reviews in net I have selected this camera. This camera is bit expensive compare to Canon EOS 1000D and canon has more focus points where as D60 only have 3 focus points. After all I am getting very good colors with this camera.

Some pictures taken with D60:

Coringa wildlife sanctuary

Few weeks back it happened to visit Coringa wildlife sanctuary in Kakinada, Andhra Pradhesh. Fortunately it is not a crowded place (Other wise it could have been littered with plastic covers). The sanctuary was formed on back waters of the sea. It consist salt water trees. There was a watch tower to see the sanctuary; it is really nice to see thick green vegetation in salt waters.AP tourism had built a small wooden bridge to go inside the sanctuary. I have seen lot birds in and around the sanctuary.

Wild cat

It was around 15-20 years back. An unknown wild cat from my village used to hunt the chickens. People call this cat as bavuru billi (or pilli).  Unfortunately I have never seen this cat. Last time when I went to my village I got some information about this cat. This cat still exits in my village. This cat hunts only in night , it is very difficult to spot in day time. This cat is bigger than usual domesticated cat. my village is in coastal area in Andra pradhesh. If somebody I have any information about this cat please send me details.  I am just trying to find out which cat species it is.

Relative time-machine

This relative time machine is not for time traveling, for different purpose. Let’s think relative time-machine is a specialized cabin, the person inside cabin can change the time flow rate relative to out side time flow rate. If he decreases the relative time-flow rate lets say by ¼, which means that time-flow rate is one quarter relative to out side time-flow rate. If he spends an hour and came out, he spends only one hour when he suppose to spend 4 hours. This case he is 4 hour younger relative to his actual age. Similarly if he increases time flow rate by 4 now he becomes four hours older than his relative age.

I will give one interesting example for this.

Let’s imagine a scenario a person is preparing for his academic examinations. He has only 1-hours left for exam to start, but he is not confident and he didn’t prepare well. If he writes the exam he will sure fail. He needs at least 4 days to prepare. If he fails he needs to wait for another year to write the exam. Now he sits in the cabin and decreases the relative time-flow rate by 1/96 that means 1hours equal to relatively 4 days. Now he has enough time to prepare for his examinations. In this case he saves approximately 1year by using his future 4days. But he becomes 4 days older to his actual age. That means he saved 365-4 = 361 days.
Same logic can be extended to space. I will talk about this later.

According to special relativity the above scenario can be possible. But I talked about stationary cabinet. This is Einstein special relativity formula for calculating time dilation.

In this case object has to move very high speeds to get sufficient ∆t'
